We are happy that you wish to be married in the sanctuary of Christ Church.  Please see the Wedding Planning Guide below for instructions, forms, fees and a sample Certificate of Insurance. Proof of insurance must be received by the church office no later than one week prior to the rehearsal.

Christ Episcopal Church (CEC) has several options for groups of many sizes. 

For long-term renters such as a pre-school or  a church congregation, please include a cover letter which describes their mission, non-profit status, desire for use of the space, timing & size along with your completed application paperwork (see below to download).  Once approved, a Diocesan approved rental agreement will be executed.

Groups that use any CEC facilities must be not-for-profit religious, hospital, community service, parish related, or charitable.  Other organizations  and individuals may rent the facilities for non-revenue generating events on a case-by-case basis.  CEC reserves the right to decline rental for any reason.  Reservations are firm when the deposit and all paperwork is received.

Reservation may be made up to 3 months in advance.  Reservations  made more than 3 months in advance will be tentative, and can be bumped for Christ Church use.  A full refund of your deposit will be made if your event is bumped.

An appointment is required to view our facilities. Please contact our Parish Administrator to set up an appointment.

After your appointment you will be directed to fill out an application for use of church facilities by following the link below. 

To offer opportunities for fellowship and connection, several ministries offer a series of events throughout the year. Here are major events planned for 2024; mark your calendar so you can come and join us!

Senior Eucharists: April 17th, August 14th, November 6th (11am -2pm at CEC)
Cinco de Mayo Celebration: May 5th in Parish Hall during Coffee Hour
and beyond.

Parish Retreat: June 28th-June 30th (The Bishop's Ranch in Healdsburg)
We will enjoy the beautiful grounds including the pool, hiking trails, spaces for reflection, children's activities, art studio, campfire pit, labyrinth and the Refectory (Dining Hall).  Please join in the fun, connect with others and make some memories!
Summer Conversation Series: July 14th, July 21st, July 28th, August 4th, August 11th (in between services at CEC)

Big Sur Camping Trip: August 16th-August 18th (Big Sur)
Join us on the banks of the Big Sur River, at Santa Lucia Campgrounds for a weekend of swimming, hiking, art galleries, campfires, napping in a hammock, good conversation, fabulous meals, and prayer in the wilderness. 
Mini-Saturday Retreat: “Coming Fully Alive As You Age:” September 14th (9am-3pm at CEC facilitated by Judith Pruess-Mellow)
Oktoberfest: Saturday, October 5th at CEC/Parish Hall, Time TBD.
Pride in the Park: Saturday in October, Date TBD. Located at Chochenyo Park Alameda.

Old Fashioned Cookie Swap: December 15th  during Coffee Hour after the 10:15am service.
